Tigers End Season with Game Two Loss
From the May 19, 2026 e-EditionLYNNVILLE (May 14) — The Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central High School Tigers ended their season Thursday with a 12-0 loss to the Richland Raiders in Game Two of the best-of-three TSSAA Class 1A Baseball Sectional Series.
Richland scored two runs in the top of the second, three in the third, five in the fourth and two in the fifth.
Tiger Easton Bullington was 1-for-1. Brayden Maness was 1-for-2.
Raider Brigham Worsham was 4-for-4 with a double, five RBIs, three runs scored and two stolen bases. Emerson Nelson was 3-for-3 with two doubles, two RBIs, a run scored and stolen base. Jameson Andrews was 2-for-3 with a walk, a run scored and a stolen base. Gavin Shrader was 1-for-2 with two walks and two RBIs. Will Shirey was 1-for-4 with two RBIs and a run scored. Gage Whitt was 1-for-3 with two runs scored.
Copper Jackson earned the complete-game shutout for Richland, allowing two hits with no walks and five strikeouts.
Gage Weatherly got the start for Central, allowing eight runs (two earned) on eight hits while walking one and striking out three in three innings. Braxton Howard pitched the final two frames, allowing four earned runs on four hits while walking three and striking out one.
