Henry County Task Force Makes Arrest Following Online Exploitation Investigation
PARIS, Tenn. (July 17) — The Henry County Sheriff’s Office (ICAC) investigators, in coordination with the FBI Child Exploitation Task Force and the Paris Police Department, announced the arrest of Duncan Alexander Redmond, 201 Mockingbird Lane, Camden, following an investigation into online offenses involving the sexual exploitation of minors.
The investigation began in May 2025 after ICAC investigators were notified by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children through a Cyber Tip, that a suspect was operating on the social media platform known as KIK and was distributing images of child sex abuse material. Investigators conducted a comprehensive digital investigation which resulted in the execution of Judicial Subpoenas and search warrants that allegedly linked a local IP address in Paris, Tenn., to Redmond.
Agents secured an arrest warrant and utilized the assistance FLOCK (License Plate Reader) through Paris PD to locate Redmond’s vehicle on July 17, 2026.
Henry County Sheriff’s Office (ICAC) investigators with FBI Child Exploitation Task Force agent executed an arrest warrant at 1450 N. Market Street, Apt. 202 on July 17 and arrested Redmond without incident. Redmond’s phone was seized and will be sent for a forensic examination.
The suspect was booked into Henry County Corrections and charged with Aggravated Sexual Exploitation of a Minor with a bond set by Judge Bruce Griffey at $250,000. Court proceedings are pending. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
No further details will be released at this time to protect the integrity of the investigation and the privacy of victims.
