TWRA to Provide Plans for 1000-Acre Lake
From the May 10, 2022 e-EditionTennessee Wildlife Resources Agency is hosting a public meeting Tuesday, May 24, 6 p.m. at the Carroll County Civic Center to listen to community concerns about the future management of the Carroll County 1,000-Acre Recreational Lake.
Recent state legislative action began the process of transferring ownership of the lake from the Carroll County Watershed Authority. Both fishing and non-fishing activities are held at the lake, which was named one of legendary fisherman Bill Dance’s Signature Lakes in December 2021.
