War Eagles Shut Out by Lions
From the Sep 9, 2025 e-EditionATWOOD (September 9) — West Carroll High School hosted Dresden Friday for a region football contest, and the visiting Lions shut out the War Eagles 35-0.
Dresden scored a touchdown in each of the first two quarters, then pulled away with three in the fourth quarter.
The War Eagles were held to eight yards of total offense, while the Lions had 407 yards.
All of the West Carroll yards were on the ground, while Dresden had 338 yards rushing and 69 yards in the air.
