From the Sep 9, 2025 e-EditionGLEASON, Tenn. — William Kevin Canaday of Gleason, Tennessee, died August 31, 2025. Funeral services were Thursday, September 4 at Gleason Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
He was born on November 12, 1955 in McKenzie, Tennessee to Harold and Jean Canaday. Kevin married Carolyn on November 17, 1979. They had two sons, Kelvin and Jacob (Coach Canaday), and two daughters-in-law, Sarah and Autumn, and grandchildren, Tanner and Elizabeth.
For over 30 years, Kevin worked for the State of Tennessee Department of Revenue.
Kevin was a faithful member of the Gleason Cumberland Presbyterian Church and served for a number of years as an elder and treasurer.
No one had a better laugh than Kevin. A great laugh is in short supply, but Kevin had one of the best.

Gleason, TN 38229. Williams Funeral Home of Gleason had charge of arrangements.
