This edition contains the stories of thirteen women who have shaped local history with their contributions. The section is titled A Tribute to Women's History, but it barely scratches the surface of the profound impact women have had on the local area.
I mean, how do you adequately convey the contributions of half the population in a 10-page special edition?
There are so many women who have made an impact in Carroll, Henry and Weakley counties and across Tennessee.
It is our hope that over time we get to tell all the stories... that might take a while, though.
Thank you to the women who shared their stories with us. You are forces of nature and examples for every little girl to aspire to.
