HUNTINGDON (April 19) — Huntingdon Special School District Board of Education is seeking a $1 million Innovative School Model grant to better prepare students in middle and high school for future success. The school also plans to add five teachers to the faculty for the upcoming school year. more
HUNTINGDON (June 12) — On Monday, the Carroll County Commission met at the Civic Center with a long agenda that included the approval of the $30 million 2023-24 Fiscal Year Budget. The budget for the general fund is $15,175,589 with an estimated revenue of $15,484,885 producing a positive net of $309,296 to be placed in reserves. According to Commissioner and Budget Chairman Darrell Ridgely, the budget was procured without raising taxes. more
