Criminal Trespass, Possession of Methamphetamine — On February 26, McKenzie dispatch received a call referencing a possible prowler in the backyard of his residence on Bertha Street. The caller advised that there was a loud truck, possibly a Dodge, parked at the Relax Inn. The complainant then saw a male subject prowling on their property. Sgt. Cody Coleman responded to the call along with officers Davis, Batchelder and Williams. The truck and prowler were not located. more

HUNTINGDON (February 22) — The following cases were heard in Carroll County General Sessions Court on February 22. more
Prostitution — On February 16, several deputies responded to a call on Highway 70 in reference to a female subject bleeding from the head walking along side of the highway. EMS arrived on scene to respond to the female feeling cold and pain, transported her to the hospital. Deputies later found out the woman was with a male truck driver. Officers questioned the driver, who stated the two had an agreement for sexual favors for $300 on a local prostitution site listcrawlers.com. The female did ask the driver to pull over, when he failed to do so quickly enough, she pulled a knife on him and jumped from the vehicle before it came to a stop. more
Trespassing, Assaulting First Responder — Shaquise Taleasha Long, 30, Walnut Circle, McKenzie was charged with Aggravated Criminal Trespassing, Resisting Arrest, and Assault of a First Responder on February 24. more
Shoplifting — Sarah Luci of Huntingdon was issued a citation into court and charged with theft of property involving merchandise on February 6. This incident did occur at Huntingdon Walmart. more
