West Carroll Elementary School Honors Week 7-8 SOAR Students

West Carroll Elementary School continues to celebrate student excellence through its SOAR Awards program, which recognizes students who demonstrate the school’s core values of Safety, Ownership, Achievement and Respect. The program highlights those who consistently show strong academic effort, positive character and meaningful contributions to the school community.
Courtney Edwards, a fourth grader, earned the SOAR Award for Week Seven for having the highest number of Class Dojo points in the school.
Her teacher, Mrs. Nikki Andrews-Gilley, said, “Courtney is a responsible and respectful student. She is hardworking, well-mannered, helpful and always tries her best. Courtney is a great role model for her peers and a pleasure to have in class.”
The Week Eight SOAR Award went to Kevyn Stephenson, a third-grade student.
Kevyn’s teacher, Mrs. Lisa Brown, said, “Kevyn consistently demonstrates excellent behavior. He shows respect, responsibility, and kindness each day. He sets a good example for others.”
Kaesy Hampton, also a third grader, received the Staff-Nominated SOAR Award for Weeks Seven and Eight.
Her teacher, Mrs. Lindsey Lindsay, said, “Kaesy is an excellent example of behavior and leadership in the classroom. She continues to make our classroom a positive place to learn.”
West Carroll Elementary is proud of these students for their dedication to excellence and for exemplifying the values that help the school community thrive.
