Prices in Tennessee are 46.5 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and stand $1.62/g higher than a year ago. The price of diesel has risen 11.5 cents nationally in the past week and stands at $5.62 per gallon. more

WASHINGTON, D.C. – On the heels of the Senate’s hearing with Big Tech CEOs, U.S. Senators Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) and Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) lead sponsors of the bipartisan Kids Online Safety Act, announced growing U.S. Senate support for the bill, with 62 senators now cosponsoring the legislation. MARTIN — Jimmy Tosh is known as a successful businessman and family farmer through his association with Tosh Family Farms in Henry, Tennessee. He’s also known for his generosity and his support for his alma mater, the University of Tennessee at Martin. Tosh was honored May 5 when the Tosh Family Classroom was officially named during an early afternoon program in UT Martin’s Brehm Hall. Administration made a few changes to the policy for the 2023-24 school year, adding more leniency to device usage while still protecting students from inappropriate use. more
