HUNTINGDON — There was a quiet transition of ownership of Webb Dental Clinic on April 1, 2023. Dr. Billy Webb sold his family dental practice to Dr. Katelyn Robertson, who joined the practice in the summer of 2022 shortly after graduating from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center with a doctorate in Dental Surgery. more

McKENZIE — Each year on Easter weekend, Overflow Church hosts a celebration for the town by offering a free carnival for children in the area. The Tennessee Department of Education released scores from the spring English/language arts (ELA) TCAP assessment Wednesday, May 25, revealing that more than half of Tennessee’s third-grade students are not meeting proficiency in the subject. While some area schools have higher proficiency percentages than the statewide average, McKenzie, Hollow-Rock/Bruceton, Milan and West Carroll special school districts have found their percentages below the state average. more
