McKENZIE (October 21) — The McKenzie Police and Fire Departments worked with Hometown Hangout to raise funds for Christmas for Kids. Firefighters and police officers were on hand taking part in a meet-and-greet with community members with police vehicles and fire trucks on the scene. Voting against de-annexation were Councilpersons Bobby Young, Carol Armpriest and Tom Alexander; Mayor Ryan Griffin broke the tie with a no vote.
