County Pledges $400,000 to Huntingdon Park Construction, Balks at Juneteenth Holiday

HUNTINGDON (April 10) — During Monday’s April meeting of the Carroll County Commission, the legislative body was addressed by Lori Dillahunty representing the Carroll County Inclusion Park. Dillahunty spoke passionately about the need and the advantages of constructing the park. Through Resolution 4-06-2023, the county pledged $400,000 of American Rescue Plan Act Funds. The estimated cost of construction is between $725,000 and $750,000.
