McKenzie basketball got back into action last Tuesday night, January 11, after a snow-induced break the previous week. The Lady Rebels and Rebels played host to Gibson County and then celebrated Homecoming on Friday, January 14, against McEwen. more
Alumni of McKenzie High School coordinated a MHS Alumni basketball tournament on Saturday, January 15 at 7 p.m. at the McKenzie High School gymnasium. The game is sponsored by the McKenzie High School Basketball Rebounders Club. more
The 2022 portion of McKenzie’s basketball schedule tipped off Tuesday, January 4, against Gleason. Both girls teams are ranked in the top ten in the state heading into the contest. more
Both McKenzie teams participated in the Christmas Tournament in Stewart County on Monday December 27 and Tuesday, December 28. more
The McKenzie Rebels and Lady Rebels played in the neutral, non-conference Stewart County Christmas Classic Tournament in Dover Monday, December 27, and Tuesday, December 28. Monday, the Lady Rebels opened the tournament with a winning 63-50 score against the Clarksville High Wildcats at 10:30 a.m. The Rebels followed at noon against the West Creek Coyotes, with a final score of 36-60. more
McKENZIE — The Bethel Wildcats signed McKenzie High School standout Zayden McCaslin recently. Zayden is the son of Derrick McCaslin and April Minor of McKenzie and is undecided on his major. more
McKenzie played host to Huntingdon Friday night, December 17, to finish a busy three-game week heading into the Christmas break. They played host to Milan on December 13 and traveled to Gibson County on December 14. more
McKenzie’s teams play in a tournament in Stewart County on Monday, December 27 and Tuesday, December 28. The Lady Rebels will play Clarksville at 10:30 a.m. on December 27 and Stewart County at noon on December 28 while the Rebels will face West Creek at noon on December 27 and Stewart County at 10:30 a.m. on December 28. more
