Mr. Barry Summers, 67, of McKenzie, Tennessee, died Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Carroll County.

Funeral services are 3 p.m. , Sunday, July 21, 2024 at Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Interment will follow in Shiloh Cemetery. Reverend Gwen Warren and Sam Suddarth officiating.

The family will receive friends at Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 2880 Highway 423, McKenzie, Tennessee on Sunday, 10 a.m. until time of services at 3 p.m.

Mr. Summers was born October 20, 1956, to the late R B Summers and Russellene Hilliard Summers. He was a school bus driver for Carroll County Schools and a Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church member. Preceded in death by a brother, Roger Summers.

He is survived by his wife, Vickie Chandler Summers of McKenzie, Tennessee; two daughters, Molly (Clint) Vaughn of McKenzie, Tennessee and Gwen (Jarid) Warren of McKenzie, Tennessee; one son, Caleb Summers of Houston, Texas; close friend who he considered a son from Armenia, Columbia - Jose Escobar; four grandchildren, Grace Holland, Ozzy Lessenberry, Cecil Lessenberry and Maisy Summers; one sister, Cindy Summers of Nashville, Tennessee; one brother, Joel (Jamie) Summers of McKenzie, Tennessee; mother-in-law, Jane Chandler of McKenzie, Tennessee.

Ozzy Lessenberry, Cecil Lessenberry, Doug Hilliard, David Hilliard, Davy Connell, Richard Gilbert, Tommy Chandler, Lee Chandler, and Bob Riley will honor him as pallbearers.

Honoring him as honorary pallbearers will be Billy Wood, Gary Jarrett, Jason Vandiver, Ricky Chandler and Mike Brown.
