Bethel Hosts Boys Basketball Camp

McKENZIE — Coach Jeff Britt and his staff concluded the Annual Wildcat Individual 10 & under boys’ basketball camp along with the individual 17 & under boys’ basketball camp at Bethel’s Crisp Arena.

One on one instruction along with team concepts highlighted the fun during the week. Several Wildcat players served as instructors along with Coach Britt and assistant coaches A.J. Johnson and Jonathan Stanley.

10 and Under Award Winners:

Campers of the Day- Banks Butler, Dallas Alexander, Eli Williams

Free Throw Champ –Caleb Ringold -22 FT’s

Hot Shot Champ –Lawson Ownby -49 points

3 on 3 Champions- (Trifectas) – William Liam Smith, Thomas Howard, Rylan Cherry

5 on 5 Champions-(Crushers) – Pike Davidson, Camden Papich, Banks Butler, Ariz Jarju, Major Howard

Each camper received a camp T-shirt, an instruction book, certificate, and a camp basketball.

17 and Under Award Winners:

Campers of the Day- Michael O’Connell, Landon Cantrell, Creek Watson

Free Throw Winner- Gage Weatherly- 20 FT’s

Hot Shot Winner- Gage Weatherly- 57 points

3 on 3 Winners- (Triple Threat) – Bryce Frye, Camden Papich, Luke Smith

5 on 5 Winners- (Avengers)- Bryce Frye, John Hassell, Camden Papich, Gage Weatherly, Maddox Soden

Each camper received a camp T-shirt, an instruction book, certificate, and a camp basketball.

Coach Britt commented on the camp. “This was a very talented group. They had fun and learned a lot. I was impressed with their focus and desire to learn. It was great having them on our campus and we look forward to them returning in future years. These young men worked hard and we look forward to seeing them at our games this upcoming season.”
