Bethel University Nursing Program Graduates Achieve Perfect Score on Licensure Exam

Posted

McKENZIE (January 19) — Bethel University’s 2021 nursing program graduates achieved a 100% pass rate on the NCLEX licensing exam, the university announced Friday.

“This accomplishment stands as recognition of the outstanding work done by each and every one of the nursing faculty and staff as well as the nursing students,” said Director of Nursing Program and Associate Professor of Nursing Jenny Webb.

The NCLEX licensing exam is the industry’s assessment of record to measure aptitude for nursing graduates preparing to enter the job market.

Nursing continues to be ranked among the most in-demand college majors, and Bethel’s nursing program is rising to meet the need.

The career and recruiting website Indeed.com ranked nursing No. 1 on its 23 Top College Majors in Demand last February, and the report cites a United States Bureau of Labor Statistics report that projects jobs for registered nurses were expected to grow by 12% between 2018 and 2028.

“They are highly sought-after graduates by employers in the West and Middle Tennessee regions,” Webb said.

“Thanks to all who contributed to this successful outcome!”
