HOLLOW ROCK — Funeral services for Billy Joe ‘Fireball’ Roberts, 83, are Thursday, December 7, 1 p.m. at Bruceton Funeral Home with Brother Doyle Williams officiating. Burial will follow at McCauley Cemetery. He died on Monday, November 27.
Roberts was born January 1, 1940 to the late Lewis David and Sarah Roberts.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah, a daughter, Tina Day, a son, Billy Neely, a sister, Martha Lowe, and three brothers, Jimmy, Carl and Danny.
Survivors include: three daughters, Vanessa Roberts of Camden, Stacey (Ernie) Smothers of Hollow Rock, and Mindy Roberts of Camden; seven grandchildren, Grant (Raquel) Hollingsworth, Rachael (Michael) Baker, Savannah (Cameron) Emerson, Heath Simpson, Sarah Elizabeth Neely, Dustin Santiago and Sanatana Santiago; and seven great-grandchildren, and one sister, Marsha Vaughn.
