TREZEVANT, Tenn.  - Funeral services for Bobby E. Argo are Friday, March 24, 2023 at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church- Trezevant at 1 p.m. The family will receive friends at the church Friday at 11 a.m. until service time. Interment is at Trezevant Cemetery. Dr. Jon Carlock is the officiant and pallbearers to serve are Ben Mansfield, Ryan Mansfield, Joseph Argo, Mark Harrison, Jeff Pinson and Jeffrey Stout.

Mr. Argo, 88, died Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Union City.  He retired from Tenn. National Guard Maintenance Department. He was mayor of Trezevant, partnered with his brothers for Argo Plumbing, co-founder of Trezevant Little League Association, member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, where he served as an elder, member of the West Carroll and Trezevant school boards,  the Carroll County School Board,  and Carroll County commissioner. He was named the Carroll Countian of the Year by the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce.

He was born in Christmasville on November 15, 1934 to Benjamin E. and Ertha Walker Argo.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Sandra Woodard Argo, a daughter, Vicky Mansfield of Huntingdon, son, Mark (Rebecca) Argo of Trezevant, three grandchildren, Benjamin (Karrie) Mansfield, Ryan (Kristen) Mansfield and Brooke Argo and three great-grandchildren, Rowan Mansfield, Roslyn Mansfield and Miles Mansfield.

He is preceded in death by his sisters, Adelle Cunningham, Christine Hodgson, Imogene Wade, Jolene Argo and brothers, Haywood Argo, Emerson Argo and Billy Argo.
