Take Off Pounds Meets on Mondays
The McKenzie Take Off Pounds Sensibly (TOPS) Chapter meets Mondays at McKenzie Church of Christ gymnasium at 4 p.m.
Anyone interested can join. Visitors are welcome. The first meeting is free and membership is $49 per year.

First Cumberland Presbyterian Chili Cook Off
First Cumberland Presbyterian-McKenzie is hosting a Chili Cook Off on Saturday, February 26, 5 p.m. at the church at 16835 Highland Dr. Church teams will compete for the designation of the favorite chili.
Humane Society Hosts Strawberry Fundraiser
The Carroll Co. Humane Society is taking orders for delicious fresh strawberries that will arrive at the shelter during the first week of March. The price is $25 per flat. The deadline for ordering and making payment is February 19. Cash, check or PayPal us at paypal.me/cchstn. When using PayPal, make sure you are “sending to a friend” to avoid fees and note that it is for strawberries.

Carroll County Election Commission meeting, Tuesday, February 22, 2022, 6 p.m. in the Election Office at 625 High St., Suite 113, Huntingdon. Commissioners are continuing preparation for the May 3, 2022 Primaries.

Chili and Cornbread Cook-off, February 19, 4 p.m. at McKenzie Senior Center Building.
Members will be creating their favorite recipes for chili or cornbread and serving those for our neighbors to vote on. Come sample our chili and cornbread and cast your ballot for the best. County Democratic Committee, Women Meet Monthly
Carroll County Democratic Women Committee meets each third Tuesday at 6 p.m. Meetings are held at the Huntingdon Police Department, Lexington Street in downtown Huntingdon. Everyone is welcome to attend.
