Free Pet Vaccines
Carroll County Humane Society is hosting free pet vaccine event March 19. The event is Saturday, March 19, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at its headquarters at 21822 Highway 22, McKenzie.

McKenzie City Council Rescheduled
The McKenzie City Council meeting is rescheduled for Thursday, March 17, 6 p.m., because of the MHS Lady Rebels participation in the state championship basketball game.

The McKenzie City Council meets at 6 p.m. the second Thursday of each month.

Huntingdon School Board meets Thursday, March 17, 5 p.m. in the school’s Central Office, 585 High Street, Huntingdon.
 
McKenzie Special School District to Dismiss Early Thursday
McKenzie Special School District will dismiss at 11:15 a.m. Thursday, March 17, for the State Boys Basketball Tournament in Murfreesboro. If the McKenzie Rebels win on Thursday, MSSD will dismiss at 1:30 p.m. on Friday.
 
Helicopter Easter Egg Drop
McKenzie Chamber of Commerce is hosting an Easter Egg Drop on Saturday, April 9, 10 to noon at McKenzie City Park. Eggs will be dropped from a helicopter. Approximately 20,000 eggs will be dropped. The event is free to attend. Kids, don’t forget your Easter baskets.
