Huntingdon Mayor and Council meets Tuesday, March 21, 5:15 p.m. in the Council Room at Huntingdon City Hall. The public is invited to attend.

Meet, Greet Director of Schools Candidates
Meet and greet the McKenzie Special School District candidates for Director of Schools on Tuesday, March 21, and Wednesday, March 22, at 5:15 p.m., at the Board of Education office, 114 Bell Avenue, McKenzie.

Second Annual Easter Egg Drop
The Second Annual Easter Egg Drop is Saturday, April 1, at McKenzie City Park, Como Street, McKenzie. The helicopter will start the fun at 9 a.m. with the egg drop of 50,000 eggs followed by an egg hunt for 0-2 years at 9:30; 3-4 at 10 a.m.; 5-7 at 10:30 a.m. and 8-10 at 11 a.m. The event, sponsored by the McKenzie Chamber of Commerce, is free of charge and includes prizes, balloon twisting, face painting, food trucks, jumpy houses, the Easter Bunny, candy and lots of picture props.

McKenzie Senior Center Boomer Trivia Night

McKenzie Schools Beauty Revues
McKenzie Band is sponsoring the annual school beauty revues in the McKenzie High School Theatre on April 1. The event starts at 1 p.m. and general admission is $10. The event includes six categories; ages 4-5, Mini Miss McKenzie; ages 4-9, Little Mr. McKenzie; ages 6-9, Little Miss McKenzie; ages 10-12, Junior Miss McKenzie; ages 13-15, Teen Miss McKenzie; ages 16-18, Miss McKenzie.

Huntingdon Schools Beauty Revues April 1
Huntington Band is sponsoring the annual school beauty revues in the Huntingdon High School Gymnasium. The pageant will take place at HHS Gym on April 1. Gym opens at 2 p.m. Times for the events are: ages 2-3, Miss/Mr. Toddler, 3 p.m.; ages 4-5, Mr./Miss Huntingdon, 3:20 p.m.; ages 6-9, Little Mr./Miss Huntingdon, 3:40 p.m.; ages 10-12, Junior Miss Huntingdon, 4 p.m.; ages 13-15, Teen Miss Huntingdon, 4:20 p.m.; age 16-19, Miss Huntingdon, 4:40 p.m.

West Carroll Band Benefit Dinner, Songwriter Showcase April 1
The West Carroll Band Benefit Dinner and Songwriter Showcase is Saturday, April 1, 5 -9 p,m, at the Carroll County Civic Center, 201 Mustang Drive, Huntingdon. The Songwriter Showcase features Nashville songwriters Brice Long, Wynn Varble and Casey Beathard. Doors open at 5 p.m., Silent Auction, 5-7:30 p.m., Dinner and entertainment from West Carroll Band members and a local band; Songwriter Showcase, 6:30-8 p.m. Handicapped access available. Shepherd’s Table Community Kitchen
The Shepherd’s Table community kitchen serves meals the third Tuesday of each month at First Presbyterian Church located at 19835 East Main Street, Huntingdon. Meals are served restaurant style with drive-through available after 6 p.m. It is open to the public and there is no cost. Donations are accepted. All are invited. It is our mission to create a community atmosphere where individuals can come in and have a meal in a comfortable setting. We encourage friendly conversation, prayers and laughter. Caring Hearts Food Pantry
The Caring Hearts Food Pantry offers food distribution the second Saturday of each month, 9-11 a.m., at Mt Zion United Methodist Church, 120 Mt. Zion Road, Huntingdon.

Take Off Pounds Sensibly

Carroll County Commission Meets Monthly
Carroll County Commission meets the second Monday of each month, 7 p.m., in the Conference Room of the Carroll County Office Complex, High Street, Huntingdon. There are no meetings in December, February, and July.
