West Carroll School Board Special Called Meeting
The West Carroll Special School District Board of Education has a special called meeting Thursday, March 25 at 6 p.m. at the junior-senior high school to discuss director of school applicants and/or interviews.
 
Carroll County Election Commission Meeting
The Carroll County Election Commission quarterly meeting is Tuesday, March 30 at 6 p.m. in the Election Commission office.
 
McKenzie Farmers Market Opens June 5
The McKenzie Farmers Market opens June 5 from  8 a.m. until noon. Stay tuned for more details.
 
NWTN Development District, HR Agency to Meet
The Northwest Tennessee Development District and the Northwest Tennessee Human Resource Agency Policy Council hold a virtual Zoom meeting at 10 a.m. Friday, March 26. Anyone interested in attending virtually must call 731-587-4213 ext. 209 for more details. The recorded meeting will be posted at www.nwtdd.org.
 
Johnson Temple C.M.E. Prayer Vigil
There is a Community Prayer Vigil every Tuesday at 5 p.m. at Johnson Temple C.M.E, 915 Walnut Avenue, McKenzie. 
We come together to pray for one another, our community and country, then study the Word of God. Johnson Temple C.M.E. Church convenes each Sunday with Sunday school at 9:45 a.m. and morning worship at 11 a.m.
 
Low-Income Energy Assistance Program
The Northwest Tenn. Economic Development Agency is accepting applications for the Low- Income Home Energy Assistance Program. This program helps low-income households through direct energy payments to their energy provider. Proof of gross household income is required to determine eligibility. Applicants must also submit a government ID, social security number verification for all household members and a current utility company print-out showing the last 12 months of usage at their current location. Individuals interested in applying for the LIHEAP Program should make an appointment at the Northwest Tenn. Economic Development Agency office in their county of residence.

Joy Club Meets Twice Monthly
The Joy Club meets at McKenzie First United Methodist Church on the first and third Thursdays of each month from noon-2 p.m. Bring a sack lunch and enjoy fellowship, games, guest speakers and movies. All are welcome.
 
McKenzie Historic Zoning Meets Monthly
The McKenzie Historic Zoning Committee meets the second Wednesday of each month, 4 p.m. in the city hall council chambers.
 
McKenzie Condemnation Meetings Monthly
City of McKenzie Condemnation Meetings are the fourth Monday of each month at 3 p.m. in the city hall council chambers.
 
McKenzie City Council Meets Monthly
The McKenzie City Council meets at 6 p.m. the second Thursday of each month.
