Helicopter Easter Egg Drop
McKenzie Chamber of Commerce is hosting an Easter Egg Drop on Saturday, April 9, 10 to noon at McKenzie City Park. Eggs will be dropped from a helicopter. Approximately 20,000 eggs will be dropped. The event is free to attend. Kids, don’t forget your Easter baskets.
Carroll County Budget Committee to Meet
Carroll County Budget Committee meeting meets the third Thursday of every month starting at 10 a.m. in the Conference Room of the Carroll County Office Complex.
Carl Perkins Center to Host Event
Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse is hosting a Light Up the Darkness Hippity Hop Be Bop at the Carroll County Civic Center, 6 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, April 9.
The Glow Run 5K and Fun Run with registration at 7 and run at 7:30. Awards were for top places in each age group.
A cornhole tournament is $40 per team.
The event includes a bake sale, food by Poot’s BBQ, Mark Milan, Hill’s Take and Bake. For more information, call 731-986-5920.

Carroll County Budget Committee is meeting with Sheriff Andy Dickson and John McAdams of the Carroll County Schools at 10 a.m. on April 7 in the Conference Room of the Carroll County Office Complex.
Cake Walk at Macedonia Community Center
A cake walk is Friday, April 8, 7 p.m. at the Macedonia Community Center. Food service begins at 5:30 p.m.
