Mrs. Carolyn Jean Kirksey, 70, of Huntingdon, died Saturday, November 19, 2022, at Lifecare Center in Bruceton.
Funeral services were Tuesday, November 22. Interment was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Camden.
Mrs. Kirksey was born July 21, 1952 in Camden, Tennessee, to the late J. P. and Becky (Beecham) Forrest. She worked as a CNA at Huntingdon Health and Rehabilitation Center. Other than her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, David Kirksey, three sisters, Geneva “Tootsie” Brinkley, Mary Jane Williams, Edith Pearson, three brothers, Frank Forrest, Howard T. Forrest, and Jackie Forrest.
She is survived by two sons, Chris Kirksey (Mary) and Wesley Campbell, both of Huntingdon, two sisters, Pearl Delaney of Camden, Sue Cary (Grady) of Yuma, one brother, Larry Forrest (Sue) of Pillowville. She also leaves three grandchildren, Sarah Kirksey of McKenzie, David Kirksey and Lucas Bratton, both of Huntingdon.
