Mc Kenzie, TNNASHVILLE (December 2023) — A long-range study authorized by the State of Tennessee indicates Amtrak could have a new route through West Tennessee including Carroll County and eventually connect Memphis, Nashville and Chattanooga in Tennessee and Atlanta, Georgia. A $500,000 federal grant funded the study by Tennessee Advisory Commission on Intergovernmental Relations (TACIR).
