The Carroll County Library hosts multiple educational events to promote activity and reading to children (and adults) this June and July. This year’s Summer Reading Program theme, chosen by the Collaborative Summer Library Program, is “All Together Now,” which advocates kindness, unity and friendship among library-goers.
Beginning June 8, workers and volunteers at the Carroll County Library urge readers to register and grab reading logs to kick off their summer reading. Kid’s Cafe is Monday through Friday, providing free snacks to children 18 and younger.
Throughout the months of June and July, the library will host several activities. Tot time is every Wednesday beginning at 10:30 a.m. PBS visits June 15 at 3:30 p.m., and Lego Club meets at 3:30. Friday, June 16, the library hosts the Barry Mitchell Friendship Adventure at 2:30 p.m.
