Deann Forrest Spellings

HUNTINGDON  - Mrs. Deann Forrest Spellings, 39, of Huntingdon, Tennessee died Monday, November 8, 2021 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Spellings Education Fund at the TVA Credit Union in Huntingdon. 

Funeral services are Friday, November 12, 2021 at  noon in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Bud Ricketts officiating.  Interment will follow in the Leach Seventh Day Adventist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home on Thursday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Friday from 9:00 AM until time of service.

Pallbearers who will serve are Shane Barefoot, Eric Forrest, Matt Martin, Stephen Miller, Larry Myers, Jim Baxter, and Jeff Baxter.

Mrs. Spellings was born November 17, 1981 in Jackson, Tennessee.  She was the principal for Carroll Academy in Huntingdon, and was a sports fanatic and loved her Huntingdon Mustangs, UT Vols, and Tennessee Titans.  She was preceded in death by her father, Steve Forrest, paternal grandfather, Hulon Forrest, and maternal grandparents, James and Vera Barefoot.

She is survived by her husband of fourteen years, Michael Spellings, two daughters, McCauley Spellings, McKinley Spellings, her mother, Sheila Barefoot Seawright (Mike), mother-in-law, Elizabeth Spellings, all of Huntingdon, paternal grandmother, Frances Forrest King of Ashland City, one, sister, Samantha Pinson (Mark) of Bruceton, sister-in-law, Michelle Martin (Matt) of Huntingdon, and brother-in-law, Jerry Dewayne Spellings of Lexington.  She also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.
