McKENZIE — McKenzie Chamber of Commerce and Industry is sponsoring the third annual Easter Egg Drop on Saturday, March 23 at McKenzie City Park, 570 Como Street, McKenzie.
Approximately 50,000 plastic eggs will be dropped from a helicopter starting at 9 a.m. Come early to watch the helicopter overhead as the eggs drop.
The hunt is divided into separate time slots according to the child’s age.
Times are as follows: 9:30 a.m. — ages 0-2; 9:50 a.m. — ages 3-4; 10:10 a.m. — ages 5-7; and ages 8-10 — 10:30 a.m.
In addition to the egg drop, there are other activities including balloon twisting, face painting, food, jumpy houses, the Easter Bunny, photo props, and prizes.
The event is free of charge and sponsored by members of the McKenzie Chamber of Commerce and Industry, along with sponsors Cachengo, Allegion, Centennial Bank, and Haven Steel. Many Bethel University organizations will assist at the event.
