World’s Biggest Fish Fry is This Week

PARIS — The 68th World’s Biggest Fish Fry is this week with activities throughout Paris.
On Tuesday, the carnival is 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. and a country dance is 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. both at the Henry County Fairgrounds, 165 Fairgrounds Road, Paris.
On Wednesday, the famed all-you-can-eat fish “tent” opens at the Fairgrounds from 5 to 9 p.m. The carnival continues and a Christian concert is 7 to 8:45 p.m. All events are at the Fairgrounds.
Thursday is the annual Arts and Crafts Show, 5 to 8:30 p.m. The Fish Tent continues along with the carnival. All events are at the Fairgrounds.
Friday is the Grand Parade at 10 a.m. on East Wood Street. It will feature local participants along with politicians and area bands. The Fish Tent is open at 11 a.m. and continues to 9 p.m. The carnival opens at 11 a.m. to midnight.
Championship bulls and barrels show is 7:30 p.m. at the Fairgrounds.
Saturday is the Small Fry Parade at 10 a.m. in downtown Paris. A junior fishing rodeo is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Williams Lake. The carnival is 11 a.m. to midnight and the Fish Tent opens at 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Championship bulls and barrels opens for a second night at 7:30 p.m. at the Fairgrounds.
Sunday, the carnival is open 1 to 6 p.m.
