Mr. Gene Travis, 85, died Tuesday April 16, 2024, at Forest Cove Nursing Home, Jackson. He was a mechanic for the TENN. State Highway Dept. McKenzie and was in the TENN. National Guard. He was born in Weakley Co. on March 11, 1939 to Clint and Mabel Blaylock Travis.
He is survived by his son, Clay Travis of McKenzie and two grandsons, Lucas Travis and Chase Travis.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Lois Jean Travis and a brother Donald Travis.
