HUNTINGDON — The following cases were heard in Carroll County General Sessions Court on October 19.
 
The following cases resulted in guilty verdicts or guilty pleas:
 
Michael W. Barber, Chummy Lane, Yuma, Guilty of Driving While License Suspended, No Jail Sentence and 180 days supervised probation; Dismissed Charges of Speeding and Violation of Financial Responsibility Law.
 
Charles Henry Carnes, Oak Street, Trezevant, Guilty of Driving While License Revoked, 180 days sentence and 180 days supervised probation until paid in full; Dismissed Charges of Tennessee License – 30-day residency, Seat Belt Violation, Registration Certificate Must Be Carried, and Financial Responsibility Law Violation.
 
Wesley Alan Essary, Black Bottom Road, Lexington, Guilty of Theft of Merchandise Up To $1,000 and Possession Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia, 48 hours jail, $397.86 restitution to retail business, no contact with retail business, 11/27 supervised probation, and Alcohol and Drug Assessment; METH – Possession or Casual Exchange.
 
Kelly L. Harris, Airways Boulevard, Jackson, Guilty of Joyriding – Unauthorized Use of Autos/Other Vehicles, 11/29 supervised probation and jail sentence suspended; Dismissed Charge of Cruelty To Animals.
 
Michael C. Hollowell, Lexington Street, Huntingdon, Guilty of Casual Exchange – Adult/Minor – Schedule IV and Possession Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia, $900 fine, 15 days jail credit for 7 days served, and 11/14 Supervised Probation; Dismissed Charge of Casual Exchange – Adult/Minor – Schedule I and Casual Exchange – Adult/Minor – Schedule VI.
 
Scottie Hunt, Patsy Lane, Cedar Grove, Guilty of Driving While License Revoked – 2nd or Subsequent Offense – Over 10 years and Leave Scene of Accident – Property Damage, 10 days jail can be served on consecutive weekends and 11/19 Supervised Probation; Dismissed Charges of Financial Responsibility Law Violation and Expired Registration.
 
John L. Johnson, Oaklawn Drive, McKenzie, Guilty of DUI – First Offense, $350 fine, 48 hours jail, Supervised probation until fines and costs are paid in full, and DUI School.
 
Christopher Medlock, Bridgeman Street, Huntingdon, Guilty of Probation Violation – Booked, 5 days jail credit for 4 days and no contact with retail business: Dismissed Charge of Criminal Trespass.
 
Clayton Milton, Booker Street, McKenzie, Guilty of Probation Violation – Booked, 10 day sentence credit for one day and Probation extended for 180 days; Dismissed Charge of Possession Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia.
 
William D. Moore, Peggy Lane, Atwood, Guilty of DUI – Second Offense, $600 fine, 45 days jail, After 25 days defendant can be released to 28 days inpatient rehab, Cannot drive for 2 years, and Completion of DUI School; Dismissed Charges of Driving While License Revoked Due To Conviction of DUI, 2 Counts of Implied Consent Violation.
 
Trevez Camden Phillips, W. Main Street, Greenfield, Guilty of Probation Violation – Booked, Credit for time served/State not opposed to rehab.
 
Samantha Rhea, Joyner Lane, Lavinia, Guilty of DUI – First Offense, $350 fine, 48 hours jail, 11/29 supervised probation, and Credit 8 days time served; Dismissed Charge of Failure To Appear.
 
The following cases were granted pre-trial or judicial diversions:
 
Ketsia Chihanzu Banza, Summerbrook Drive, Euless, Texas, Pre-Trial Diversion for Underage Driving While Impaired, $250, Jail sentence suspended, Alcohol and Drug Assessment complete within 60 days, Probation is supervised until fines and costs are paid; Dismissed Charges of Simple Possession/Casual Exchange, Using False Identification, Implied Consent Violation, and Drivers To Exercise Due Care.
 
Cody James Floyd, Greg Street, Cedar Grove, Pre-Trial Diversion for Criminal Trespass, $50 fine, Supervised probation until all costs and fines are paid in full, and if all conditions are completed and no further problems arise this case may be expunged.
 
Bryson Nathaniel Johnson, Bomer Lane, Lexington, Pre-Trial Diversion for Simple Possession/Casual Exchange, $250 fine, Jail sentence suspended, and 11/29 Supervised Probation.
 
Gage Moore, State Route 114, Hollow Rock, Pre-Trial Diversion for Youth Tobacco, Smoking Hemp and Vapor Products Act Violation, $50 fine and Juvenile Court Vape Class. 
 
The following cases were dismissed:
 
Michelle Renee Baker, Marlboro Road, Hollow Rock, Dismissed Charges of Driving While License Suspended – 2nd or Subsequent Offense and Obedience to any Required Traffic Control Device.
