HUNTINGDON (August 30) — The following cases were heard in Carroll County General Sessions Court on August 30, 2023.

One defendant was bound over to the Grand Jury of the Carroll County Circuit Court.

Ashton M. Ridley, Main Street, McKenzie, bound over on a charge of Second Degree Murder-Attempt; Schedule II Drugs.

The following cases resulted in a guilty plea or finding:

Corey Ballentine, Baker Road, Martin, guilty, Probation Violation, 11/29 jail, suspended, supervised probation, must provide proof of employment.

Kenneth Beckham, guilty, DUI-First Offensem $350 fine, 11/29 jail credit for time served, day-for-day credit for successful rehab program, not to drive for one year, complete DUI school.

Linda Joyce Casey, Stonewall Street, McKenzie, guilty, Driving While Canceled, $100 fine, six months supervised probation, must provide proof of insurance and obtain a license; dismissed, Violation of Financial Responsibility; dismissed, Speeding.

Gavin Maliek Guthrie, Highland, Bruceton, pre-trial diversion, Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia, $350 fine, alcohol and drug assessment; dismissed, Schedule VI Drugs.

Amberley Dawn Hicks, Birmingham Lane, McKenzie, guilty, Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia, $750 fine, supervised probation; dismissed, Simple Possession, dismissed, Tampering with Evidence.

Tristan Hood, Linden Street, McKenzie, guilty, Probation Violation, 11/29 jail, may serve sentence in rehab, supervised probation.

James Latron Horton, Walnut, McKenzie, Probation Violation, 30 days jail, probation extended four months, must obtain a valid drivers license.

Donald Shell, Forrest Circle, McKenzie, guilty, Probation Violation, 60 days jail, supervised probation for four months, must obtain a valid drivers license.

Tammy Michelle Sheeks, Orman Drive, Clarksville, dismissed, Speeding; guilty, Driving While License Canceled, $100 fine, supervised probation.

Kyle Phillip Talmadge,, Mountain Creek Road, Camden, guilty, Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia, $150 fine, 11/29 jail suspended to 10 days, supervised probation.

Alyssa Taylor, North Hatton Aven, Lebanon, guilty, Reckless Driving; guilty, Implied Consent, $500 fine, probation.

Brandon Westphal, Orchard Lane, Bell Buckle, Tenn., guilty, DUI-First Offense, 11/29 jail suspended to 18 days; supervised probation, not to drive for one year, complete DUI school; dismissed, Criminal Impersonation; dismissed, Driving While Revoked-2nd or subsequent offense; dismissed, Implied Consent; dismissed, Failure to Exercise Due Care; dismissed, Seatbelt Violation.

Dossie Lynn Wright, Alabama Street, McKenzie, guilty, Public Intoxication, $50 fine.

The following cases were dismissed.
