Rebel and Lady Rebel basketball coach John Wilkins hosted a girls basketball camp July 11-14 for incoming first- through eighth graders at the McKenzie High School gymnasium. Coach Wilkins and his staff of Lady Rebels coached campers on free throws, dribbling, passing and more.

Coach Wilkins Hosts Girls Basketball Camp

Rebel and Lady Rebel basketball coach John Wilkins hosted a girls basketball camp July 11-14 for incoming first- through eighth graders at the McKenzie High School gymnasium. Coach Wilkins and his staff of Lady Rebels coached campers on free throws, dribbling, passing and more.
 
Campers were broken into age groups of first- and second graders; third-, fourth- and fifth graders; and sixth-, seventh- and eighth graders. One camper from each age group received an award for winning hot shot, free throw, 1 on 1, and dribble race contests. The following contest winners are listed in order of their age group.

The camp’s cost was $60 per camper. Every camper received a basketball camp t-shirt and a camp basketball to take home and practice. 
 
The camp followed Coach Wilkins’ boys basketball camp June 20-23 for the same age group.
