HUNTINGDON (January 2) — The Grand Jury of the Carroll County Circuit Court were busy on the first business day of the new year. Among the indictments were 46 who were charged by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation in Operation Broken Windows that involved the law enforcement departments of Huntingdon, McKenzie, Sheriff’s Department and the Drug Task Force. The special drug operation began in January 2023 as a continuation of Operation Dark Crystal, which resulted in the indictment of 61 individuals. During Operation Broken Windows, agents and investigators conducted multiple controlled purchases, surveillance, and research. As a result of their diligent work, on January 2, a Carroll County Grand Jury returned indictments charging 46 individuals with more than 100 charges involving the trafficking of methamphetamine and cocaine, aggravated child endangerment, and gun-related charges.
With the significant number of drug arrests added to the number of other defendants who move through the Grand Jury placed an extra number of work on the clerical staff, who were still compiling the records on Friday, January 5. The Court does not release the names of those indicted until the defendant is arrested, which is still ongoing.
The following is the indictments released last Friday.
Jason Todd Perry was indicted on charges of Attempted First Degree Murder, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, and Reckless Endangerment. He is accused of firing a weapon at Deputy Jason Walker, Deputy Kenny Tucker, Deputy Michael Sevarns, Deputy Eric Sawyers as they attempted to arrest him. He had a .308 caliber semi-automatic rifle and a .22 caliber pistol in committing the crime.
Tony Gale Dedmon is charged with Aggravated Assault and is charged with burning down a tree that fell on Carl Barry Raidt as he was driving his vehicle and causing Raidt serious bodily injury.
Jonathan Ray Sullivan was indicted on a charge of Aggravated Criminal Trespass, The indictment indicates he entered the property of a female in Atwood on August 26, 2023 causing her fear for her safety.
Ronada Lee Lafond was indicted on a charge of Theft, from Huck’s Convenience Store in Huntingdon on November 4-7, 2023. The charge indicates the theft was between $10,000 and $60,000.
Anthony Dale Stanford was indicted on a charged of Theft of Property. The indictment indicates he stole a 2003 Chevy pickup truck without the owner’s permission.
Colton Blake Kyle was charged with Aggravated Assault. He is accused of assaulting a female and displaying a deadly weapon in perpetration of the offense.
Rickey Phoncello Warlick was indicted on a charge of Aggravated Burglary and Violation of Order of Protection. The indictment reads that on February 14, 2023, Warlick entered property in Huntingdon with the intent to commit felony theft and/or assault. The victim, her child and mother was inside the residence at the time. The victim had an order of protection against Warlick.
Adrian Markell Nesbitt was indicted on Introduction of Drugs in a Penal Institution, Criminal Responsibility for the Conduct of Another, Possession of a Controlled Substances with Intent to Deliver. The indictment reads that on June 9, 2023, Nesbitt introduced marijuana into the Carroll County Jail. He is responsible for knowingly aiding Jaley Ashay Craig in the commission of the offense of Criminal Responsibility for the Conduct of Another.
Brian Scott Phifer was indicted on Aggravated Assault in relation to a November 22 incident in which Phifer caused the victim fear for his life when a deadly weapon, a CVA Wolf .50 caliber muzzleloader was displayed.
Matthew Parker was indicted on charges of Violation of Sexual Offender Registry and Violation of Community Supervision. The indictment indicates Parker failed to register or report as a sexual offender in the month of June 2023.
Kasper Edwin Northern was indicted on charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance after being charged on September 17, 2023 with a green-leafy material identified as marijuana.
Nicole Joy Todd was indicted on a charge of Domestic Assault after being charged on October 10, 2023. The victim was in fear of imminent bodily injury.
Dale Maurice Teague was indicted on charges of Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia and Unlawful Possession of a Prohibited Weapon. Teague, who was previously convicted of a felony, had possession of a 9mm handgun, had possession of marijuana, and unlawful drug paraphernalia along with a weapon known as knuckles.
Christavon Rashawn Horton was indicted on charges of Aggravated Burglary, Theft of Property and Vandalism. The indictment indicates Horton entered a residence in McKenzie, stole $800, and damaged the air conditioner and rear door.
Ramsey W. Carter was indicted on Domestic Assault. On October 31, 2023, Carter reportedly caused a female friend fear of bodily injury.
Kaelin Dwayne Willis was indicted on the Sale of Methamphetamine. On March 20, 2023, he is charged with selling 20.8 grams of Meth.
Anthen Lee Parker was indicted on charges of Aggravated Assault, Domestic Assault. Parker is accused of placing a family member in fear by the use or display of a deadly weapon resulting in the charges.
Rosa Victoria Diane Hampton was indicted on charges of Allowing Underage Consumption of Alcoholic Beverages, Contributing to or Encouraging the Delinquency of a Minor. On October 19, 2023, Hampton was charged with allowing four minors consume alcohol.
Erich C. Kussman was indicted on two counts of Aggravated Assault. The indictment indicates Kussman used a knife to cause injury to the victim and caused serious bodily harm
Eric Williams, Jr. was indicted on charges of Evading Arrest and Reckless Endangerment. The indictment indicates Williams knowingly fled from Sergeant Ethan Parham in a vehicle. Williams is accused of driving recklessly at a high speed and creating a danger to others.
William Audrine Hollowell was indicted on charge of Aggravated Criminal Trespass. On August 24, 2023, Hollowell entered or remained on the property of a Huntingdon residence and knowing that his presence would cause fear for the safety of the owner.
