McKENZIE — Leroy and Brenda Haddock of McKenzie are celebrating their fiftieth wedding anniversary at 2 p.m. on April 17, 2021 at a reception at the New Valley Event Venue, 189 New Valley Road, Gleason. The event is hosted by Lee Travis, Kerrigan Estes and Betty Vawter.

Haddocks to Celebrate Golden Anniversary

McKENZIE — Leroy and Brenda Haddock of McKenzie are celebrating their fiftieth wedding anniversary at 2 p.m. on April 17, 2021 at a reception at the New Valley Event Venue, 189 New Valley Road, Gleason. The event is hosted by Lee Travis, Kerrigan Estes and Betty Vawter.

All family and friends are invited to share in their celebration. The couples requests no gifts.

They married in McKenzie on April 19, 1971 in a ceremony performed by Brother J.W. Hayes.

Their children are Brenda Lee (Clayton) Travis of McKenzie and the late Christopher Brian Haddock. They have four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and four step-great-grandchildren.

They are members of Bethel Baptist Church.

Leroy is the son of the late Leroy Haddock of Huntingdon and the late Bonnie Cooper Gore of Paris. Brenda is the daughter of the late Alfred and Ovellon Forrest of McKenzie.

Leroy and Brenda enjoy fishing, going to flea markets and traveling.
