Huntingdon Police Reports


Court Order Violation — Kory Wilbert, 29, of Milan was charged with violation of an order of protection on Jan. 5 at a Huntingdon residence.

According to the report by Officer Zachery Barker, officers went to a Hillcourt residence looking for a female with a warrant out of Gibson County. While there, officers spoke with Wilbert and discovered that he was at the residence in violation of a court order of protection to stay away from a woman who lives at that residence. Wilbert was transported to the Carroll County Jail.

Ticket Switching — Jesse Thomas, 23, of Huntingdon and Darius Bernard Love, 18, (address not provided) were both charged with theft of merchandise/conduct involving merchandise on Jan. 4 at Walmart in Huntingdon.

According to the report by Officer Labe Ezell, Thomas and Love were taken into custody at Walmart for allegedly switching tickets on numerous items in the self-checkout area. The items, totaling $126.05, were returned undamaged, and there is no restitution due to Walmart.
