Theft — Jeremy J. Joyce, 36 of Union City was charged with theft of merchandise under $1,000.
 
On October 26th, Joe Lowe, from Walmart reached out to Huntingdon Police Department in reference to a white male in a truck who was seen on camera attempting to  replace barcodes from lesser value items and on to more expensive products.  Later in the day, Investigator Hedge located the individual, identified as Jeremy Joyce, and informed him Joe Lowe at Walmart needed to speak with him. On November 27, Officer Barker spoke with Mr. Lowe about moving forward with the charges, who did indeed want to move forward.
 
Multiple Arrest/Public Intoxication — Jorge Flore Duran, 26 of Jackson, Tenn. and Fernando Felipe Flores Touar, 24 of Findlay, Ohio were both charged with Public Intoxication. Touar is not a U.S. citizen and speaks limited English. He required services of a Spanish-English Translator.
 
On October 27, Officer Patton responded to an altercation at Heritage Inn located in Huntingdon, Tn. An altercation was happening between the two intoxicated individuals, identified as Duran and Touar. Officer Patton detected a strong odor of an intoxicating beverage from the breath of the individuals, they continued to argue and curse loudly towards each other in the parking lot. The two were placed under arrest and transported to Carroll County Jail.
 
Multiple Charges — Michael Greg Hollowell, 58 of Huntingdon was charged with simple possession and casual exchange and unlawful drug paraphernalia.
 
On October 27, Joey Hedge received information of drug activity on Lexington Street in Huntingdon. Hedge received consent to search from the subject who rents the residence. Hedge located a syringe containing a substance that tested positive for Heroin. Hedge was also able to locate 5 grams of marijuana and two blue pills that identified as Xanax. Hollowell took ownership of all the items and was arrested.
