Simple Assault, Disorderly Conduct, Simple Possession — Kendall L. Johnson, 22, of Huntingdon, was charged with Disorderly Conduct, Simple Assault, and Possession of Schedule VI Marijuana on November 5.
A customer at Walmart called about an unruly individual and the dispatcher could hear commotion in the background. The offender left the scene in a blue Chrysler car and the officers were able to find the vehicle and stop Johnson. Johnson stepped out of the car while another officer went and talked to Walmart security who explained that Johnson hit a victim in the face after a verbal dispute. Security said that Johnson was yelling at customers before the incident started attracting attention when he was told to leave the store. Johnson was then placed under arrest and when the officers went to turn off his vehicle, they smelled a strong odor of marijuana. Johnson gave permission to search the vehicle when 3.9 grams of marijuana was found.
