Multiple Charges — Kimberly Lynn Taylor, 42, of Huntingdon was charged with simple possession and casual exchange, unlawful drug paraphernalia, and intent to manufacture, sell and deliver.
 
On November 1, Officer Verner conducted a traffic stop due to a passenger not wearing a seatbelt. Kimberly Taylor gave consent for the officers to search the vehicle. Officers located two small bags of meth, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia in Mrs. Taylor’s possession.
 
Theft — Tolando McCaa, 20, of Northport, Alabama was issued a citation into court and charged with theft of property involving merchandise.
 
On November 6, Officer Allen responded to a shoplifter at Walmart, upon the officer’s arrival he was informed Mr. McCaa had taken several items without payment.
 
Driving on Suspended — Cody Allan Bradley, 32, of Huntingdon was charged with his first offense of driving on a suspended license.
 
On November 8, Officer Allen saw Mr. Bradley operating a vehicle. A computer check confirmed that Mr. Bradley’s license was still suspended. Officer Allen was able to issue Mr. Bradley a citation into court and charge him with his first offense of driving on a suspended license.
 
Counterfeit Money — On November 9, the manager of Cash Savers reported a white male accompanied by a young female child made a purchase of $49.97 with a counterfeit $100 bill, with change of $50.03 given back to the man. The manager states the cashier at the time is new with the company. The incident is under investigation currently.
 
Driving on Revoked — James O. Johnson, 62, of Jackson, Tenn. was placed under arrest for driving while his license was revoked for a previous DUI.
 
On November 19, Officer Barker responded to a call about a vehicle driving in circles and stopping in the middle of the intersection of Buena Vista and Veterans Drive South. Barker sat and observed the vehicle for a short period before the driver decided to drive off. Later up the road the driver ran off into the field off the Hwy. Sergeant Jackie and Officer Barker responded to the accident and confirmed the welfare of the driver, James Johnson. Dispatch informed officers that Mr. Johnson’s drives license was revoked, and he had a prior driving while revoked for a DUI charge as well.
