McKenzie Tenn. - Mr. Mike Mattox's memorial service is Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Monday, November 20, 2023 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, 10 a.m. until service time. Cremation will follow the service.
James Michael Mattox, 61, died Friday, November 17, 2023 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. He was a construction coordinator for Spectrum and a member of McKenzie Church of Christ.
He was born in Milan on October 20, 1962 to James Mattox and Beulah Duvall Hardin.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy Mercer Mattox, two daughters, Kelsey (Drew) Brown and Crystal Locke, one sister, Barbara (Mike) Hayes and two brothers, Warren (Jeanne) Welch and Jimmy Mattox and four grandchildren, Madison Barton, Mattox Locke, Rhett Brown and Sutton Brown.
He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Sandra Johnson.
