GLEASON - Services for James Robert Grooms, 78, of Gleason, Tenn. are Tuesday November 16, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Sandhill Baptist Church in Gleason. Burial will follow in Sandhill Cemetery.
Visitation is Monday, 4:30-7 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home of Gleason. It will resume Tuesday morning at 9 a.m. and will go until time of his funeral service.
Mr. Grooms is survived by two step-sons, Monte (Shelly) Bowers and Nickey (Allison) Bowers both of Gleason. He is also survived by three sisters, Barb Carvalho of Lansing, Mich., Patty Lane of LaVergne, Tenn. and Carolyn (Patrick) Schmidt of Leslie, Michigan. Robert leaves behind three grandchildren, Seth, Trey, and Barrett Bowers.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Grooms, parents, Hubert Junior and Bea Wade, and an infant son, James Grooms. Williams Funeral Home of Gleason.
