McLEMORESVILLE - Mr. Jimmy O’Dell Simmons, 75, of McLemoresville, Tennessee died Friday, August 26, 2022 at NHC Milan.
Funeral services are Friday, September 2, 2022 at 2 p.m. at the New Reedy Creek Missionary Baptist Church in McLemoresville. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
He was a former sheriff’s deputy and a member of the Carroll County School Board.
The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home on Thursday, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and at the New Reedy Creek Missionary Church on Friday, noon until time of services.
Mr. Simmons was born May 12, 1947 in McLemoresville, Tennessee, to the late O’Dell and Anna B. Simmons.
He is survived by his loving wife, Constance Simmons, two sons, James “Stevie” (Jennifer), and Banthony Simmons. He also leaves four grandchildren, Porshea Simmons, Donavon Simmons, Laquisha Simmons, and Reanna Simmons, two great-grandchildren, two brothers, two sisters and several nieces and nephews.
