Don Knotts’ Daughter Karen To Perform in McKenzie

McKENZIE — Karen Knotts, daughter of the famed Don Knotts is performing her show “Tied Up in Knotts” at the McKenzie Park Theatre on January 28, 2 p.m.

The show is a tribute to her late father, Don Knotts, who starred in Andy Griffin, the Reluctant Astronaut, and many other movies.

It is a must-see for the kids of the 1950s, 60s. The 90-minute show is a multi-media production on Don’s career as told by his daughter, who shares fond memories of her dad.

She offers great inside stories of the cast of the TV characters residing in Mayberry.

It was the chemistry between Don and Andy Griffin that led to Don’s five Emmy Awards for Best Supporting Actor as Barney Fife.

Don appeared in over 22 family films plus the 10 years he played the landlord in “Three’s Company.”
