Posted

The Milan Lions Club is hosting the 10th Annual Sight Bowl on Thursday, March 9, between the Bulldogs of Milan High School and the defending Class 1A state champions, the McKenzie Rebels. The scrimmage game begins at 5 p.m. at the Johnnie Hale Stadium, 3013 Baird Street, Milan. The Sight Bowl has raised over $10,000 to purchase prescription eye glasses for the less fortunate in the 38358 area code.

Following the game, the Lions Club will serve meals to each member of both teams. Admission is $5 per individuals or $10 for a family. Donations to the Vision Care program will also be accepted. Concessions are available for attending fans. The game concludes spring workouts for the Bulldogs. TSSAA allows each school 10 practice sessions and one scrimmage each spring.
