McKENZIE (May 11) — During Thursday’s regular meeting of the McKenzie Board of Mayor and Council, the first reading of the Fiscal Year 2023-24 Budget was approved. The second reading is June 15 with the budget taking effect on July 1, 2023. The budget for next year is $5,494,866 with an anticipated revenue totaling 6,046,662 creating a surplus of $551,796.
