McKenzie Homecoming is This Week

McKenzie High School Homecoming began Monday, August 29. Each day is a specific dress-up day for MHS students. Monday is Top Spotify Band/Artist; Tuesday is “Party in the USA by Miley Cyrus-USA Day;” Wednesday, “Work” by Rihanna - dress up as what you want to be when you grow up; Thursday “Deja Vu” by Olivia Rodrigo - decade day, throwback to your favorite decade; Friday - “Get Your Head in the Game”--High School Musical - wear red and gray.

McKenzie High School Homecoming began Monday, August 29. Each day is a specific dress-up day for MHS students. McKenzie High School hosts its Homecoming Parade,  September 2 at 12:30 pm.  
 
The Parade starts at City Florist parking lot in downtown and proceeds along Stonewall Street, then turn on Brooks Avenue, past the Elementary School, turn onto Bell Avenue, and enter the back entrance to the Rebel Stadium.  Retired coach and former Assistant MHS Principal Randy Thomas is the grand marshal of the parade.
 
At Randy Thomas Field, all three McKenzie schools and the public will host a pep rally.
 
On Friday during pre-game, the Homecoming Court will be introduced and the queen crowned.
