Aggravated Criminal Trespass — Timothy S. Hickey, Brighton, Tenn., was charged with Aggravated Burglary and Aggravated Criminal Trespass on April 1.

Patrolman Timothy Dillon, Patrolman Raspberry, and Investigator Beauchamp responded to a Reynolds Street residence, where the suspect was reported to be inside the home, where he had previously been banned. The owner, who was not at the premises, gave officers permission to enter the home. They located Hickey hiding behind a refrigerator. Hickey was arrested and transported to Carroll County Jail.

Driving on Suspended — Robert Lee Bunce, III of Milan, was charged with Driving on Suspended License on April 1.

Officer Dillon stopped Bunce’s vehicle after observing the expired registration. A driver’s license check revealed the driver’s status as suspended for failure to appear in Milan City Court. The officer searched the vehicle after he smelled marijuana and located drug paraphernalia, which was seized for evidence without criminal charges. Bunce was cited into General Sessions Court.

Driving on Suspended — Netisha Gordon, Walnut Circle, McKenzie, was charged with Driving on a Suspended License after a traffic stop on April 3.

Officer Michael Cunningham initiated a traffic stop after observing Gordon’s vehicle had an inoperable passenger-side taillight. A check of her driver’s license revealed it was suspended for failure to satisfy court costs out of Madison County.

Warrant Service — Miles Estes, Trenton, was arrested on an outstanding warrant on April 1.

Officer Timothy Dillon went to Estes’ residence and served a warrant for Violation of Probation out of Milan. He was transported to Carroll County Jail, where he was held for Milan authorities.

Violation of Order of Protection — Matthew Bell, Park Circle, McKenzie, was charged with Violation of an Order of Protection on April 2.

Officer Timothy Dillon was dispatched to a Walnut Circle address, where the female occupant stated Bell phoned her in violation of his order of protection. Bell was incarcerated at Carroll County Jail at the time. The jail’s phone call log indicated that Bell called the victim.

Public Intoxication — Matthew Scott Celusta, Bethel Court, McKenzie, was charged with Public Intoxication and Resisting Arrest on April 5.

Officer Billy Burson responded to Celusta’s apartment after a neighbor reported loud music late at night. Celusta and the complainant discussed the situation before the officers arrived. Officers could hear the music at the complainant’s upstairs apartment. The officers went to Celusta’s downstairs apartment and asked him to turn down the music. Celusta turned down the music, but indicated it was not yet quiet hours, which start at 11 p.m. The officers indicated that Celusta became more argumentative and aggressive, leading to his arrest.
