Mc Kenzie, TNThe annual Scarecrow Grove in the downtown Veteran’s Memorial Park is September 27 through October 31.
The City of McKenzie sponsors the annual event to allow individuals, businesses, churches, and other organizations to participate in designing and displaying a scarecrow for visitors to see.
Each year, people stop to view the funny, scary, friendly, or silly scarecrows. Deadline to enter a scarecrow is October 4 by bringing the scarecrow to City Hall. Parks Department associates will erect the scarecrows.
