McKenzie High School principal Kelly Spivey, coaches, and boosters, honored the 2021-22 soccer seniors and team for an historic season. Lead by coaches Karlene Brown and Jeremy Bilger, the team made its first State Soccer Championship Tournament appearance in the history of the school. The feat was preceded by first place finishes at the district, regional, and sectional levels. The banquet began with the coach’s introduction and prayer led by Andrew Cole. After a wonderful meal from JAMROCK Restaurant, all players were presented an official TSSAA State Soccer Championship certificate by Principal Kelly Spivey. Medals were then awarded to All District Players: Stafford Roditis, Will Essay, Brice Becerra, Maddox Martin, Joe’l Bilger, Camden Allison, and Jesse Calderon.

All Tournament Players: Stafford Roditis, Jonathan Haney, Skyler Fornera, Guillermo Hickman, and Austin Cooper.

The seniors were honored with beautifully framed season jerseys and comments from Coach Karlene, Coach Jeremy Bilger and teammates Jesse Calderon and Austin Cooper. The banquet ended with plaques being awarded for accomplishments throughout the season.

The coaches also honored boosters for all of their assistance throughout the year(s).
